I think Jeff is the BEST DJ to EVER do it. For real the fact that he has been in it for soo long and is sooo humble. And he still sounds fresh. This is hands down, uncontested, undisbuted THE best Super car EVER MADE!!!! Everything about it SCREAMS perfection. I am a supercar enthusist and if I had my choice....the f1 takes the cake (sorry koenigsegg, I still got love for you) The Power, the styling, I mean how many production cars do you know that you can sit in the center seat? Exactly!!...hard to belive this car came out over 15 years ago and looks like it can compete with cars released this year. Anyway here is Leno taking it for a drive

I have to say out of all the bands, Jamiroquai doesn't get enough props here in the US. I know overseas they are gigantic but here all anyone knows is he dance scene from Napoleon Dynamite and that cool virtual insanity video with the moving floor(which did win video of the year). I love how Jay Kays voice meshes perfectly with the nu disco dance sound of the band, maybe they can do some more stuff in the states!. Anyway check out this story about how not one but TWO Purple Special Edition Lamborghini Diablo Lightweight 30th anniversary damaged during the making of one video.

Too bad they didnt post the whole episode... What is missing from this video is the guys are spraying themselves with about 50-100 squirts of Cologne. I remember imagining to myself how much they must reek and if that actually works.(of course I tried it I think I was 14 at the time) The next day at school all everyone said was how much I smelled like polo sport ..... Anyway all things aside, the styles might have changed but the game is pretty much the same. (minus the actual writing down of phone numbers)

Props to the whole crew and John Norris for his patience. Anyone who ever had to work with ODB behind the scenes knew how he was. He wasn't trying to be difficult he was just being him and always wanted to be authentic above everything else.

DJ Runnin Things Blends

Prior to Ableton doing mashups (blends is what they were really called and I do really like the word blends but ill save the semantics) were a pain in the ass. One of the blend records that always stood out to me was DJ Runnin Things. These blend records were really produced rather then just a live turntable blend. What I always loved about Runnin Things mixes were how he/she(I never met the dj so I don't know) would change beats every couple of bars, and the mixes clean, never sloppy and often scratching in the next beat. I can say that my style of making remixes was influenced by Runnin Things records, he/she made a bunch but the one that really stood out were the Groove Theory Tell Me mixes as well as Soul 4 Real If you want it. These were soo big they were regular staples on FunkMaster Flex Street Jam Show in the 90's. I remember the day I was actually able to get these at Rock N Soul...I was in LOVE. Anyway I want to share these with you and I put on the buju Banton mix on there for good measure as well.

He was talented and hardworking and regardless of what others thing how he got famous he was always just DOPE to me.....I have more to say its just my mind can't process it so it will take some time before I can....I am so glad to have lived in a time when he was alive and thanks for all he did for us as DJs but more so as people

One of the best hip hop/r&b fusion Albums in a while...

I will admit Fab never really stood out at me as like a guy who's album I was really anticipating. But on this one he really sealed the deal and made a consistent album. Of course the lead single "throw it in the bag" is Fabs standard formula {pick current hot r&b singer +fab+metaphors+mid tempo updated r&b beat=great radio record} Joints on there to check, of course the Jay Z record "money goes, honey stay" some other gems on there "makin love" w/Ne-Yo, Pachancha. But it really is an album you can listen from beginning to end and then choose and pick from there. He really nails the Intro...damn. If I can find an acapella for Throw it in the bag I am doing a uptempo remix with a video! My only problem with the video is it doesnt end right, I gotta holla at the director because it confuses me. Other then that a soild 8.5/10

Well im off, working on more edits. I was kinda drained after finishing "fit to fill" it was all the ideas I wanted to do for the past couple of years and I finally just stepped up and did it. I'm proud of it but now its time to move on, I always wanna try and change and just put out the best music and art possible.  Time to make the donuts!
